Welcome to the Saint-Cloud Golf Club
Inaugurated in 1913, Golf de Saint-Cloud is a private club with two 18-hole courses, located in the communes of Garches, Rueil-Malmaison and Vaucresson, in the immediate vicinity of Paris.
The Eiffel Tower, which stands in line with the 8 du Vert and the 18 du Jaune, offers a magnificent view of Paris.
Designed by Harry Shapland Colt, the first true golf course architect, the Vert course has hosted the French Open on 14 occasions. It is also the historic course for the French Open Juniors - Esmond Cup.
Golf de Saint-Cloud boasts one of the finest amateur team records in the ladies' category: 26 French Championship victories.
France's top amateur players come to play in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, which every other year bears the name of its founder, Henry Cachard, and that of Jacques Petit-Le Roy, a fine amateur player, member of our Club, young Resistance fighter and emissary of Jacques Chaban-Delmas, shot dead at the age of 28 on the eve of the Liberation of Paris.
The Golf de Saint-Cloud, along with 21 other French golf courses, is listed in the Rolex guide to the world's top 1000 courses.
But what makes the Golf de Saint-Cloud so endearing, over and above the practice of a formidable sport, is the sharing of common values: sportsmanship, family spirit, friendship and conviviality.
Being a member of the Saint-Cloud Golf Club also means being able to enjoy 3 tennis courts, as well as an exceptional clubhouse, a training area and a tennis court.
